About Adams Campus

We are a college and career prep academy where our rigorous academic requirements prepare students for careers in medicine, law, finance, IT, and engineering.

Our Mission

New Designs Charter Schools are committed to the development of a college-preparatory learning environment that enables students to become literate, self-motivated, and lifelong learners. New Designs’ goal is to prepare its students for advanced careers in the fields of medicine, engineering, information technology, and law and diplomacy.

New Designs Charter Management Organization (CMO) exists to develop exemplary schools with rigorous academic programs that produce scholars ready to excel in their academic, personal, and professional pursuits.

Title I

We are privileged to be a Title I school. Title I is a federally subsidized program that provides financial assistance to help ensure that all children meet challenging California academic standards. As a Title I school, we offer extra services and other specialized programs. Parents may request information regarding the professional qualifications of their child’s classroom teacher, including the type of credential(s) the teacher holds and the educational level and subject area(s) of the teacher’s college degree(s).

Parent Involvement

Student success is almost guaranteed when parents are actively engaged in the educational process. It is a privilege to do our part by making sure we notify parents and family members about their children’s education.

Parents have the following rights:

  • To be informed about their children's education
  • To participate in their children's educational process
  • To have opportunities for parent involvement

We commit to the following:

  • To develop programs, activities, and procedures that involve parents and family members
  • To meaningfully consult with parents and family members
  • To meet or exceed strict state education requirements
  • To provide full opportunities for parents and family members to participate in the educational process, regardless of English proficiency or disabilities
